		<description><![CDATA[Duncan if you want to do that you would be better to go to Lightning Ridge where the opal fields are more adapted to the small opal miner. I will be at Lightning Ridge  this week so just leave a message on the blog and let me know your circumstances a little more. when you would be coming to Australia. whether you have any finance to share in some machinery or if you just want to partner with someone who already has the gear.  If i find someone who wants a mining partner i will hook you up with them, if i can recommend the person.  this is the best way of working out the system.  Its better to do it with someone else for safety reasons if you can find a good honest mate.    best wishes,  Peter]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[I have started using the Smart Chart Software. Although I find it great, I have I some questions related to the choices offerred in some screens, such as:
1. Smart Chart Opal Pattern Screen: Which is the appropriate pattern for Rolling Flashfire Opals? Which of the indicated choices should be marked?
2. Smart Chart Opal Variety Screen: According to Smallwood: Opal nomenclature, “Crystal Opal can have either a black, dark or light body tone”. In this regard, which variety, among the choices offerred in the Smart Chart  fisrt screen should be marked for the following:
a) Crystal (transparent) precious opal
b) Semi-Crystal (translucent) precious opal
c) White (opaque to translucent) precious opal]]></description>
